Marrying the partner of your dreams is one thing, but having your nearest and dearest all around you for your biggest celebration ever, is the proverbial cherry on the top!
The SA Weddings team recently hosted one of our favourite styled shoots at the incredible venue of Belair estate and this one- is for the girls! Brides and bridesmaids all over SA can attest to the fact there's nothing quite like the morning of your wedding day- where all the months of preparation, guest lists, seating plans and stressing come to an end and there’s just you, your big white dress and a short walk down the aisle to focus on.
Floral getting-ready-gowns, touches of spring with flowers in full bloom, and pops of colour all around from natures perfect palette, teamed up as our inspiration behind this look. Belair in Paarl is a photographers dream venue to shoot with it's white light, cleverly thought out design and incorporated trellace detailing- there's literally not one area here that's not more than worth the photo opportunity.
Alfred Lor was our talented photographer for the day and captured the magic and moments shared. Our beautiful bride and her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done by the enigmatic, Colleen Paioni, who added to our models natural glow and showcased some great bridal hair trends for this year.
Looking good and feeling your best on your big day is, no doubt, essential but having fun along the way is the best medicine for pre-wedding jitters. We're no doctors- but find that a beautiful high-tea table, laid with treats and a perhaps only complete with a delicious vanilla sponge from Vibe Events Catering, paired together with some bubbly is undoubtedly the only way to start your big day!
