The Lovely, Mishka Patel (MC, Keynote Speaker , Radio and Lifestyle personality) tied the knot with her love of 8 years, Donovan Loesch. The intimate occasion was hosted at the divine Vredenburg Manor House in Somerset West and the intimate affair was attended by relatives and close friends in the industry, including current Mr. South Africa, Heinrich Gabler and actress, Nicole Bessick.
8 years ago, as a 19 year old and 21 year old. We unexpectedly found each other. It was love at first sight!
Donovan proposed on our 6 year anniversary at La Pommier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch! Completely took me by surprise, even though we spoke about marriage before, it still felt surreal!

There are too many ‘moments’ to choose from. BUT I would say when I ‘revealed’ my dress to my dad, and when I saw Donovan as I walked down the isle.
I didn’t really have a ‘theme’. But we kept it neutral, soft, off-whites/champagne and a lot of greenery. We are ‘outdoors’ people, we love nature, so having our wedding in 4 different gardens was a no-brainer!

I gave The Flower Girl Décor (Nazeema) room to be creative. I told her what I like, what I don’t and what I’d want, and BOOM! She created EXACTLY what I envisioned.

When I heard ‘you may kiss the bride’, it clicked: I am a WIFE.

We are going on our official honeymoon in December, but we went to a local spot: KolKol Mountain Lodge the day after our wedding for a few days. And it was the BEST decision we ever made.
