We have been dating for 4 years.
We are both very different, yet so compatible. Jean is a gentle soul, he is also an introvert, but he gets along with everyone, he is patient and very quiet. Where I am the opposite, I am an extrovert, outspoken and a bit loud at times, but they say opposites attract.
The proposal!! I get butterflies every time I talk about that day. We got engaged on the 4th of October 2022 on Table Mountain, Jean planned the entire proposal to the last detail from protea flowers and champagne to the most beautiful ring. He had some help with a company called “the perfect proposal” located in Cape Town. The moment was magical when Jean went down on one knee to ask the big question.
The engagement shoot was always something we both wanted to do, as we want to make use of the photos at our wedding. Luckily when our search began for the wedding photographer we came across DKE and the engagement shoot was included in the wedding package.
Our engagement shoot was on the rooftop of Sandton City. Our photographer from DKE Productions recommended this location to us and we were absolutely in love with the look and feel of it.
We didn’t really have a theme for the shoot, yet we wanted to go for something elegant and timeless. The look is definitely inspired by our wedding, elegant and classic.
The RING! Ahhh the ring is everything I’ve ever wanted. Jean knew exactly what I liked, so all the credit goes to the groom.
Planning a wedding can be very daunting. The wedding venue we chose provides a lot of services to us including a wedding coordinator. Hand in hand we work well with her and planning alongside, the function manager. It’s been great and so helpful, so much less stress that’s for sure.
Definitely, we will be doing an all-white wedding, no colours will be incorporated in the wedding. We are going for elegant and timeless and our flowers will be orchids and roses.
We make sure your wedding is captured in the most beautiful and artistic way possible, so you can look back on it with fond memories for years to come.
