The Wedding Party was an idea born out of co-founder Dan Green’s experience of playing in the well-known cover band ‘Me & Mr Green’. As part of the most sought after party acts in South Africa. Dan noticed that the entertainment side of the wedding was often neglected, and quite often a panicked last minute stress for both bride and groom. Dan then partnered with musician, Louise Day to put together the perfect mix of experience, contacts, and know-how in order to provide a world-class entertainment solution for any size and theme wedding.

Louise Day adds, “From being in the music industry and playing at many weddings over the years I have always realized the special impact that music has on one of the most important days in a couple’s life. It was, however, when I got married last year that I really realised how much was involved in making the music happen perfectly. Dan and I saw that there was a real need to work with couples on this element and so The Wedding Party was born.”
