A closer look into the experience of our Bride of the Year 2018 finalists
If you're wondering what it's like to be a Bride of the Year finalist, we're letting you in on what took place during the weekend of Bride of the Year 2018.
After being greeted by our lovely team at OR Tambo International Airport, our finalists were taken to The Maslow Hotel where they were treated to lunch, followed by an on stage rehearsal to get them ready and prepped for the stage.
Each couple were then taken to their rooms, where a box of surprises awaited them. Thank you to all our prize sponsors for gifting our finalists with the most incredible selection of top quality gifts. Given time to relax and spend time with their better halves, our couples were then treated to a special dinner on the Friday evening courtesy of The Maslow Hotel.
We loved spending time with each couple and getting to know them a little bit better! We also cannot get enough of the spread put on by The Maslow Hotel - thank you for allowing us to enjoy your wedding menu!
Saturday started off with a bang! Our girls were each gifted with an Infinity Dress, which they wore with absolute elegance as they graced the stage for their final rehearsal. How gorgeous are those dresses?!
Rehearsal over, the girls were whisked away to Africology, the incredible on-site spa at The Maslow Hotel, where they were treated like the absolute queens that they are. Did somebody say spa treatments and Piper-Heidsieck champagne?! What a killer combination!

While the ladies were being treated, our gents were taken to The Course Restaurant for lunch and an exclusive gin and tequila tasting courtesy of Merriment & Co. What fun!
After a day of activities and relaxation, our finalists had their hair and makeup professionally done by our fantastic team of stylists. Just how glam is everyone looking?
All glammed up and ready to walk the stage with their handsome husbands by their side, our Top 12 finalists enjoyed a luxe weekend of pampering and spoils with new friends to last a lifetime!
