A networking event for industry professionals
The SA Weddings team recently hosted a networking event at the ever beautiful Fairlawns Boutique Hotel and Spa in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Set amongst lush acres of landscaped gardens you'll find an urban sanctuary, which will leave you in awe of this stunning venue. Established in 1997, Fairlawns, or “FBH” as it’s come to be affectionately known by Managing Director, Michael Kewley, is a property proud in heritage and character. Previously a luxury private residence, it is only fitting that the property has transformed “herself” into the stylish hotel, with an air of eclectic sophistication, that Fairlawns is today.
After a long week in the office, it was time to unwind and mingle with industry professionals; bubbly in hand, delicious snacks and of course, the most amazing macaron cake from Aimee Lloyd Macarons.
We really love catching up with our service providers, meeting new people in the industry and of course sharing what we've been up to - and we've been up to a lot!
To share what we've been up to, besides exciting new features on our website, SA Weddings has partnered with Alexa Lily to launch and create the first bridal wedding planner for brides-to-be! “Your Bridal Edit” serves as a diary and planner, which contains useful tips and advice to help brides plan their big day.
In addition to launching this epic planner, we've also collaborated with Giltedge Travel, an award-wining luxury tour operator specialising in high-end tailormade travel and safari holidays in Southern/East Africa as well as the Indian Ocean islands. Soon to be launched on the SA Weddings platform is exclusive tailor made honeymoon packages suited to every couple.
With delicious snacks and flowing wine, everyone had a great time meeting up with old friends and making a few new contacts. We're ending this year off on a bang and we promise to help make our service providers' 2018 a successful one!
