Grooms Gifts

Weddings aren’t all about the bride and sometimes it’s good to remember that your groom also appreciates a little romance.

Here are our favourite ideas for grooms’ gifts: Weddings aren’t all about the bride and sometimes it’s good to remember that your groom also appreciates a little romance.

1. Boudoir Album
Many daring brides are loving the idea of a bridal boudoir photo shoot. These sexy images are usually taken by a professional photographer and then combined into a beautiful album for a seductive wedding day gift. For your groom’s eyes only.

2. Watch
A traditional idea we love, paired with a note reading something similar to “So you’ll be at the church on time” or “See you at 4:30”. Watches can range a lot in price, so you’ll have a lot of options to choose from when deciding how extravagant you’d like your gift to be. Just make sure that you feel confident choosing a style he’d like, as he’ll likely wear it every day.

3. Something For The Honeymoon
This opens the door for a whole long list of ideas, depending on where you’re going. If it’s somewhere tropical, a nice new pair of sunnies and some swimming trunks are a great idea. Heading somewhere chilly in Europe? A passport cover and luggage tags are things people generally never like to buy for themselves but would still like to have. You can get really creative and even create a basket with a bunch of little things instead of one bigger gift.

4. An Activity
If your hubby-to-be is more of an outdoorsy kind of person, why not book a fun activity for him or the both of you to try? If you’re having a tropical honeymoon find out about an outdoor activity (think rock climbing, parasailing, beer tasting, a day of golf, dinner at his favourite restaurant) and book it ahead of time as a surprise. Planning and gifting an experience can be far more appreciated by some grooms than giving a tangible gift- especially for someone who has everything.

You don’t have to spend a small fortune on a gift for your groom on the day of your wedding. If you know he’s feeling a little jittery, send him a bottle of his favourite whiskey and some cigars that him and the groomsmen can enjoy to calm his nerves. Whatever you send, attach a little note telling him how much you can’t wait to see him and he’ll be feeling the love in no time.
