To kick off the gala on a high note, guests were welcomed with an EPIC Bubbly Bar stocked with a selection of sparkling wine from Doolhof Winery and of course, a champagne coupe tower. The SAWCY Girls love nothing more than some champers to get the party started and Doolhoof Winery did not disappoint! Later on, in the evening guests could enjoy the rich flavours of Doolhof’s meticulously curated wines, from their sublime Sauvignon Blanc to their marvellous Merlot Malbec. As guests clinked their glasses of premium wines, they raised a toast to love and happiness, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
For aficionados of gin, the Gin Bar sponsored by Africa Infused & Inverroche was a true highlight of the evening. Set against a backdrop of lush greenery, the mixologists crafted gin cocktails that showcased the diverse range of Inverroche flavours, garnished to perfection and creating an adventure in botanical infusions for all of our guests. The Africa Infused Mobile Gin Bars gave us the full experience, showing us that you can enjoy a tasteful and tantilizing cocktail ANYWHERE. From classic gin and tonics with a twist to creatively infused concoctions, Africa Infused treated us to the best of the best in their Mobile Gin Bars.
Just the thought of the food served at #SAWCOTY2022 has our mouths watering! Taste Ateljee, the event's catering partner, undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the guests' palates with their DELICIOUS food. The canapes served were a fusion of flavours and textures, showcasing the artistry of culinary craftsmanship from this team of experts. From mini-burgers, vegetable curries and delectable risotto balls to the ultimate harvest table of breads, cheeses and spreads that was nothing short of magnificently moreish, each dish was a masterpiece that delighted both the eyes and taste buds.
Complementing the canapés, guests were treated to the tantalizing selection of freshly baked delights from Blos Bakery's Candy Station. A whimsical sweet wonderland of colours and flavours this candy station featured an array of candied popcorn, macarons, brownies, and cakes that were all artfully displayed. Known for their attention to detail and creativity, Blos Bakery created a haven for those with a sweet tooth, taking delectable desserts to the next level and perfectly capturing the vision and theme of the event. All we can say is that we all could not get enough!
As the evening progressed, all the coffee lovers got to enjoy a journey of aromatic brews at the Coffee Station, sponsored by Monarch Coffee. The tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee beans drew our guests to these cozy coffee corners to get that rejuvenating caffeine kick. From expertly crafted espressos to velvety cappuccinos and rich lattes, the coffee connoisseurs at Monarch Coffee catered to every palate. The baristas skillfully adorned each cup with delicate latte art, adding an extra touch of elegance to the coffee experience.
JT Events, the event staffing solutions company, ensured that every aspect of the gala was seamlessly executed. From staffing services to bar operations, their team orchestrated a seamless and efficient event experience. Their professionalism and dedication allowed guests to immerse themselves fully in the festivities without any worry, adding to the overall success of the gala.
Joining the team for the evening Diens Hospitality provided ten talented students working in the hospitality industry who helped to ensure that our guests were treated like the VIP’s they are. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, these aspiring students contributed to the event's success while gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights of working at a grand-scale event such as #SAWCOTY2022!
The food and beverage stations provided by the event sponsors added that essential touch of magic, delighting the senses and enhancing the overall experience for all who attended. From sweet nostalgia at the Candy Station to the adventure in botanical infusions at the Gin Bar, each station was a testament to the partners' dedication to excellence. Combined with the seamless execution of services by JT Events and the opportunity to nurture young talented students from Diens Hospitality, this gala event was one for the books!
