Acoustic Element

When cousins Callen Petersen and Jody Abel combined their musical talents, an extraordinary combo was born. Callen, who plays the violin, and Jody, who plays guitar and beatboxes, make up the dynamic musical duo - Acoustic Element.
The duo have performed all over South Africa, as well as Internationally in Greece, Austria, UK, Sweden, Amsterdam, and Qatar to name a few. Acoustic Element perform well known covers in a unique and entertaining way using percussive elements of beatboxing, rhythmic elements of guitar strumming and the melody is carried by the violin which creates a unique blend. A Refreshing Instrumental act - the AE performance is interactive, with popular and familiar music which spans over different genres.
