It was early July 2022, a cold winters day that we decided to make a fundamentally life changing decision that day, it was the day we both SWIPED RIGHT!
We chatted for a few days on Bumble before going out to a quaint restaurant infant of a beautiful church in Stellenbosch. That must have been a sign, who knows? 2 years later we are engaged and planning our family and future together.
Since then we have gone on to create a beautiful little home, raise two vivacious pups, travelled to the Rugby World Cup and worked in a mini Euro trip.
We are the exact same and complete opposites at the same time.

Bruwer, I and our dog, Lucky ventured up to the waterfall at Paradyskloof,Stellenbosch along the way he kept stopping and taking photo's and stalling the hike - I am a very high intensity person and wanted to keep moving, though I indulged him. When we did arrive at the waterfall he handed me a small book and in it was photos of us together and at the end of the book he asked me to fill the last photo with a picture of us now about to start a new chapter for the rest of our lives. When I was done registering what the book was all about, I looked up and he was down on one knee and said many beautiful things that I can not remember :-). The ring and the moment was everything but was even better was the man that I am marrying.
