My most memorable moment was walking down the aisle with my uncle who has played the father role in my life and seeing my husband waiting for me made me so emotional I almost cried!
Seeing how beautifully everyone was dressed for my wedding made it even better! My wedding was one of the most memorable moments of my life and both our families made an effort to be there which meant a lot to us:-)

We went to Fazenda guest farm for 5 days. It's in Swellendam and it is beautiful!
It is so romantic with beautiful mountain views and most importantly very relaxing after planning a stressful wedding!
I would recommend it to any couple after all the stresses that come with planning a wedding and the host is amazing!

She is amazing and does exactly what you want and if you have no clue what you want she plays around and gives you ideas on what you can do! She makes the experience as fun and less stressful as possible. It was just amazing working with her and she has been doing weddings for way more than 10 years so she definitely tries her best to make you feel like the special bride you are! I love her!!!
My wedding dress was from Weddings By Design (Instagram: Weddingsbydesign.1) 082 336 6606. It was a mermaid elegant dress that also have a traditional bridal look and feel to it. Every bride needs to go to their boutique for a fun and less stressful experience. They made my experience so relaxing and so much fun! Their patience is amazing as I tried lots and lots of dresses and all they want is for you to find your dream dress and encourage you to try as many dresses as you want so you can find that one dress. I thought looking for my dream dress would be stressful like everything else that comes with the stresses of planning a wedding but it was the opposite. I am so glad I went to them first because I did not need to go anywhere else after I saw the range of amazing dresses they had. They are awesome!

We had our wedding at Cultivar Guest Lodge in Stellenbosch. It is beautiful but they don't have the friendliest staff and had more guests on the farm and packed up quite early because they wanted to look after their guests that were staying on the farm. We thought they were unprofessional as they should've informed their guests in advance that they booked a wedding for that wedding. Our guests complained about being chased away in some parts of the lodge and we did not like that. We did not have coffee in our room and they accused our guests of taking coffee which is very unlikely. We had some guests that stayed in the lodge but they did not like it so I wouldn't recommend people having their wedding at Cultivar Guest Lodge.
We just did our usual squash games at Virgin Active and went for a spa treatment at Cavendish. I did my teeth at Smith & van Lierop and they are amazing. They make you feel so comfortable and you get to watch whatever you want while they are busy with your mouth to take your mind off it. They are the friendliest dental care you can come across. I love them!
Our theme was green and gold and we paid the venue for the decor. Our highlight was the centerpieces which were done by Nicole Grant Hair and Make-up as a favor and we loved them! It is something she loves doing in her spare time and wanted to do it for us and thank god we agreed because they were amazing!
The groomsmen wore Scottish kilts and accessories that they hired from Staghorn Outfitting & Kilt Hire ( 0217614853 / 0810544085) in Canal Walk. My husband has a Scottish lineage and they all said they had a great experience when they went for fittings. They looked amazing!
My bridesmaids wore emerald green dresses with slits running down their right legs.
My marriage officer's name is William May. He has been doing weddings for more than 20 years. It was a pleasure having him as our marriage officer. Everyone at our wedding says William was a highlight
Our photographer was Bernadette Dippenaar (Instagram: bephotography_bernadette) 076 090 5622. They are the best photographers you can ask for! They are patient and made our photoshoot so much fun and relaxed! because of their extensive experience they advise you on what to do in order to capture the best moments and Bernadette went out of her way to help me get dressed:-) They definitely don't want you to panic on your wedding day so if you are not ready for them they are happy to start taking pictures of guests etc. We truly appreciated working with them on our special day and we had a great time. We truly appreciate them:-)
