My highlights from my wedding day was waking up and knowing that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend from that day on wards, I LOVED my husbands reaction to seeing me for the first time walking down the isle, I loved feeling like a princess for the day and I LOVED dancing on the dance floor with all my friends and family.
We went on honeymoon to a safari lodge for a few days in the klaserie reserve and then we went to a trails camp for a few days which was an experience of a lifetime
I would describe my wedding look as a classic look (something I never thought I’d be - a classic bride).
I had a simple up-style with my hair and very natural makeup, I wore a slight princess dress of full satin with mid length sleeves and an open back. I had a cathedral veil which was one thing I had always wanted and my dress train was also exceptionally long. I wore @fombrand vellies as my wedding shoes as we got married in the bush.
We got married at Monate game lodge in Limpopo and our guests were able to stay over on the property, and there is cheaper accommodation near by.
I stuck to my normal fitness routine by going to CrossFit at CrossFit Taniwha, I also went for tanning sessions at Glo Beauty.
I had my nails done at Clara Nails and looooved my nails!
I tried to eat well and made sure to hydrate my skin.
Our decor consisted of a lot of DIY products and we made sure to keep our colours simple and elegant. We had different colour vases on our tables with dried blooms in from @blombespoke and we had neutral colour candles throughout our tables. We stuck to an arch theme for all our signs, menu’s and welcome boards. Our venue had the most incredible bulb lights above the dining area allowing for an incredible warm glo. We also had fire konka’s surrounding the tables for warmth under the winter sky.
My groom wore a tailor made suit and his groomsmen wore jackets that complimented my grooms suit as well as chino pants. They also wore vellies as their shoes.
All suits and jackets were custom made by @yihanbronn
My bridesmaids wore a simple but elegant chiffon long dress with long puffy sleep as that draped around their wrists. The dresses were a shade of brown that changed from lighter to darker as the light touched them.
All the dresses were made and designed by @yihanbronn

My marriage officer was Hans van Niekerk from CRC church I Pretoria.
The wedding photography/videography company that captured my special day was @beautphotography.
They were able to capture the absolute essence of the day and the rawness of the African bush. Leandrie was so pleasant to work with and made sure to capture what we wanted.
I did not make use of a planner.
The venue offers transport on the day as the different areas are not in walking distance of each other. The venue made use of game viewer vehicles to transport our guests and us around the property.
The food was supplied by Monate Game Lodge staff and it was incredible, and something the guests raved about.
We used @creativeheros to design and print all of our stationary (menu’s and itineraries) and they were done beautifully.
My husband and I did not take dance lessons and kind of just winged it. We had the DJ company @perfecttonemusic do our sound for the wedding.
We had no company supply any lighting for our day.
