Despite the rain and load shedding it turned out to be a perfect day. We had a special intimate wedding with loved one's.
I arrived 20min earlier for our ceremony, sitting in the car listening to music with my bride squad while it's raining and waiting for the guests to arrive.

Luckily we had some time to take photos when the rain stopped and also ended up 60min earlier for our reception where we had time to go around the room, talking to our guests while the food preparation was being done.
We ended up doing our first dance just in time for the load shedding and then enjoyed the rest of the night under candle light and wine.

Most guests are in and around the area, made their own accommodation needs if they needed it.
Kept using my beauty products morning and night - Placecol and Innoxa. Weekly booster exfoliation and mask.
The week of the wedding I used some "boere raad" from my mom by using rice water that I freezed after cleansing my skin morning and night as this helps to refine pores and leave skin silky smooth for lines.
Kept a balance diet and tried not to loose or gain weight. When I craved something sweet, I enjoyed that.
Night before I used my teeth whiting kit that I have received from my dentist.

Our theme was rustic with naked wooden tables, navy blue runner, glass under plates, wood, burgundy, greenery flowers and white candles.
Our tables were set up with personalized wine bottles and thank you gifts that complimented the theme.
Groom and best man wore light grey suits with blue ties. The grooms was a polka-dot one.
Their suits were hired from Mr Suits in Bellville and accessories with what they already had or bought to compliment the look.
With the wedding day just around the corner we looked everywhere for a winters dress and found a green 3/4 lace sleeve dress at YDE that I post to maid of honor to fit and it was perfect for what we had in mind.
