Not all brides have their day without a glitch or two. I was so blessed to have everything fall into place so perfectly. Although this made the whole day a cherished memory, the moment that stood out for me was when my husband and I stepped out of the chapel as one, seeing confetti go flying around us, and the emotional high which came along with it.
My husband and I are quiet the workaholic, so we hope to go on Honeymoon at the end of the year.
My wedding look really resembled my personality, as it had elements of elegance yet never compromised on comfort. My dress was made by Lynmarie Griffieon, and was absolutely gorgeous! My hair was done by Marsan from Salon Shalante, and my makeup by Shelly Cue.
We chose Cranko's Creek (situated in Lows Creek) for our venue. The venue has an under-roof wooden deck with fairy lights and an indoor bar area. Our guests were also accommodated at the venue, which was convenient for those traveling from afar.
The venue catered for much of the decor, so there was no need for extra rentals. The seating arrangements were indicated on dehydrated oranges, which complemented our colour palate. The flowers were done by Thelna from Flower Market, and consisted of large floral runners on the tables.
We were truly blessed to have our neighbour, Marius Crouse, officiate our ceremony.
Our photographers were Charlene and her assistant from Mystical Art Photography, which has been voted the Best in Mbombela 2022
We believe in supporting local, and so we had a local baker by the name of Bheki assist us with our cake.
Our Venue supplied all catering.
Our sound and lighting, and music were done by a local DJ, David Coetser.
