Back in 2009 on the 2nd November when I used to work at a certain bank, my now husband Ayanda walked in with 2 of his friends. He had just come out of hospital after being thrown out of a moving car during a hijacking, he woke up a day later in hospital. His car had bullet holes which happened at the time the hijackers were in a shootout with the police and tracking company. So Ayanda needed a loan to repair his car and as fate woulh have it he was assisted by me. For him it was love at 1st site ,we exchanged numbers and...The rest is history!
So in 2016 a few months after he got permanently employed for the first time we went on a couples boat cruise with his new colleagues and their partners at Hartbeespoort dam. He'd secretly bought a ring and planned to surprise me on the boat. Being a shy guy Ayanda chickened out of the public proposal and opted to quietly propose on one knee in our room, it was romantic nonetheless.
