Seven years ago, Christo and I met in a small church. He was my youth leader. Seven years later our friendship grew into love during lockdown, May 2020. On April 30th Christo got down on one knee and made me the happiest I have ever been, knowing I am marrying the man of my dreams.
There is this small place in Pretoria East, Blos Cafe. We love to eat there, and I love the atmosphere. He asked me one night we went to eat. It was pouring rain and he just waited for it to stop for a few seconds. The light was just right and it was quite cold. The warmth and blessing I felt in that moment was unforgettable.
