From the moment we said 'I do' cheers rang out and the celebrations started. We had a blast with friend's and family, dancing until 3 am the next morning. It was a memorable experience we will never forget
Our honeymoon started at Lanzerac Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. It was the most amazing experience. We were so pampered. We then flew to Dubai for 3 days. This was also an unbelievable experience. We love to experience other cultures.
From Dubai we flew to the Maldives for a week. This was the most amazing experience! We LOVE the Maldives. We stayed in one of the over water bungalows which was a experience on it’s own.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction then making a bride or girl more beautiful then she already is.
We got married at the amazing Murasie in Gansbaai, Baardskeerdersbos WP. One thing that really stood out for us from this venue was how helpful the owners/managers of this venue was. They really go the extra mile and do everything with a smile. They also won the 2021 Best venue of the year on KFM.
All family members stayed at the venue. The rest of the guests all booked their own accommodation in Gansbaai.

Our colors scheme was all Autumn colors.
For the ceremony we got married under an old oak tree. We used a triangle arch with dried ferns and autumn colored flowers al around the arch.
We didn’t have to rent any furniture because the venue supplied it all.
We rented a Gin bar from the venue. The guests loved it.
We also rented a Stella Keg from Keg Hire. The men especially loved this one.
We hired games for the guest from The Husband and Wife Team. We had giant Jenga, knots & crosses and we had golf clubs with golf balls.
We hired huge box letters from Lekker Trou that displayed our surname “Fourie”
The guests took a lot of photos here so it wasn’t necessary for a photo booth.
The venue was surrounded by glass to reveal the beautiful landscape outside. One felt as if you stepped into a classy glas greenhouse sparkling with overhead lights and greenery.
We had 5 long tables seating 34 guests per row. We didn’t really want a lot of flowers or decor on or tables so instead we decided on hanging greenery with naked bulb & basked lights.
Thank-you-gifts
We had leather keychains made with each guest name on it by The Groom and Co.
Thé bridal table also had hanging greenery with naked bulb lights but had a lot more flowers on it. We decided to do more flowers on the bridal table because it was only my husband and I who would be seated at the bridal table.
On the tables we had small vases with 2-3 stems in it and candles. We used woven placemats with olive green napkins.
All decor/flowers was done by CreativeNook.
I chose the material and colour scheme for the bridesmaids dresses. Each bridesmaid then had the opportunity to design the material in the individual style they feel comfortable in. They loved the freedom to display their creativity and uniqueness. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful decision

Dearbeb Media captured our special moments. They also took our engagement photos. We loved them from the start. They make you feel so comfortable while taking the photos.
Our videographer was Boland Wedding.
We used Peaberry Catering & Events. Her food is out of this world and she was a delight to work with.
We decided not to have a wedding cake because it usually goes to waste. We rather decided on donuts and the guests loved it.
We didn’t take any dance lessons. My husband and I love dancing and didn’t feel the need to take any dance lessons. We decided to rather wing it and it worked for us. We dance really well together.
We had a DJ (Armand Vermeulen) and he was the BEST! Our guests loved him. He goes under the name DJ Arries.
Impedance Productions did our lights and Sound.
