We had the privilege to host about 80 of our closest and dearest friends and family at the beautiful Rolling Waters wedding venue on Good Friday. On request all our guests arrived wearing black. The venue was beautifully decorated to elegantly elevate the theme with black candles and amazingly stylish flower arrangements by Francois Du Toit.
Having a wedding on such a significant spiritual day was definitely one of the highlights for us, the whole day was filled with a divine atmosphere of love and peace. The chapel service will always be something we look back on as a highlight of the day, being able to express our promise and devotion in a spiritual way on a day like this by washing one another's feet as part of the ceremony.
Once the service was done the fun started with a fully stocked Gin bar. Guests were treated to an amazing plated dinner by Laughing Chefs and could visit a photo booth or caricature artist for something unique to take home as a remembrance of our special day.
All the special moments were captured amazingly by Natasha Boma. With our incredible Videography being done by the best in the business Cinastage studios. For us the day was exceptionally special and the love from everyone in attendance was overwhelming, but above all our most treasured memory from the day will aways be the fact that we can look back on this day forever as the day we each got married to our best friend and soul mate.
Yes! We were incredibly lucky and fortunate to go on two separate honeymoon’s since we both have such a love for the Mountains and the ocean.
The first part consisted of us going to the Drakensberg Sun Hotel followed by a week in Mauritius traveling the island from North to South.
Initially the plan was to spend our first week in Zimbali (KZN), but on the wedding day we were informed that they had no water due to the storm damage in the province at the time so we changed this to spend a week at the Drakensberg Sun. We then spent a second week in Mauritius having the best holiday of our lives.

We were absolutely overwhelmed with the way our day was captured by these teams and especially the video by Cinastage, we could not have asked for a better team of photographers to capture the special day for us.
