It was the most beautiful day any bride could ask for, everything was just perfect. And although we had to do our wedding in reverse and take photos first while we wait for an alternative pastor to arrive because ours only showed up almost 3 hours too late, I wouldn't want it any other way. It was a intimate, budget wedding with only our closest friends at a Clubhouse in Carlswald, Midrand
We did not have the opportunity to go on Honeymoon yet.
Hair and Makeup was done by the ever so talented René Fereirra from Ultimate Glamour, he exceeded every expectation. From the day I found THE dress a Viola Chan classic at Bride & Co (a last minute dress hunt as the dressmaker dissappointed) I knew I wanted the classic deep red lip and pearls to compliment the gorgeous cream color of my dress. The jewellery I wore was gifted to me by a dear friend, and my mom "borrowed" me her gorgeous pearl drop earrings.
Most of the Decor was DIY as I wanted to add a personal touch, bigger Items like tables chairs cutlery and crockery were hired from Smiths Party Hire and my flowers, the one thing I was very soecific about as it formed part of my theme was dome by the ever so talented Kerri Stains from Sunninghill Flower Market.
I wanted the Groom and his men to be as comfortable as possible as my husband is not one to wear a suit I didnt want to throw him our of his comfort zone completely, so his outfit was a simple white shit, chinos and sneakers from Woolworths. The groomsmen wore the same style
My bridesmaids wore dresses ordered from Shein :)
The one we originally booked never showed up, well he did but 2.5hours later so we had to get an alternative marriage officer at the last minute, his name was Jonathan. He was the manager of the estate as well.
Lechien and her assistent from Suikerbekkie Fotografie did our photos, I haven't received them all yet but I have a few sneak peaks which came out beautifully
No I planned everything myself with the help of my two beautiful bridesmaids
It was my boss's honor to take me to the venue from his house in his beautiful black Range Rover
The wedding cake was a HIT and it was made by the very talented Therese Du Plessis and her husband from Motion Bakery. She also made our two fur children their own cake. It was the absolute best cake I have ever had, Vanilla cake with oreo chocolate frosting at the bottom and red velvet cake with creamcheese and turkish delight at the top.
I did the designing and printing myself
We didnt have a first dance as my husband is very shy, our music was a playlist I compiled on Apple Music
