Ever since I was a little Girl I dreamt about a 40's French antique themed wedding - I went with classic red lips, hair up, and pearls which matched with the pearls on my dress and shoes.
I was absolutely taken by the make-up I had done by @Bjornakabee makeup by Bee. My hair was done by Noone other then Rene from Ultimate Glamour. My spray tan was by Glow Bedfordview.
My dress. . . The dress . was the Holly dress by the Bridal house.
My venue was the Olives and Plates on the Wits campus. It has the most beautiful old Dutch looking hall with wooden floors and gorgeous antique chandeliers it made me feel as though I was in the beautiful Cape Winelands..
My retinue consisted of 3 of my best friends and my Sister inlaw.
They went out their way from 3 months prior to my big day, spoiling me with the most beautiful hampers and flowers as we counted down each month.
My batchalorette was one of the best nights I have ever had.
My husband wore a black tux and bow tie, his groomsmen wore navy suits and black shoes with a white shirt and white rose boutonniéres.
I got the bridesmaids dresses made, the style was an infinity/multiway dress, this allowed them to choose any style they felt comfortable wearing. The colour was different shades of blues.
Wow! What Is a wedding without a fantastic. Photographer?
I used Celest a CT based photographer who flew out just for our wedding.
She was unbelievable! The most lovely woman! Really!

My planner was a God sent.
Natalie from Presision Events Co-ordinated everything, from moving all the seating inside so gracefully while it rained to the que of the music.
I had organized for the fun of it, as Noone would see, an old VW beetle limo in white to transport my retinue and mom's.
The food was outstanding! It was catered by Delorus from foodbyflavours.
She was exceptional and exceeded all expectations.
The music was a 3 pestring orchestra, with drums, guitar and keyboard with vocals by Moshe Lichtenstein from the Chuppa band. They composed music especially for us.
During lunch/tea we had light music playing in the background by Jaryd Smith an incredible solo artist who brings such a vibe whereever he plays.
