A beautiful and sunny day in Stellenbosch, with a cool breeze to keep the make up in tact. The perfect views of the vineyards and mountains gave us the ultimate backdrop for our photos. We enjoyed having our closest family and friends celebrate the day with us. We enjoyed the very tasty food and drinks, the special speeches about our past and future well wishes, the dancing and embrace we felt and last but not least, we looked good and we felt even greater to be experiencing this moment.
Not yet. We still plan to go to Bora Bora.
My beautiful dress was tailored by the ever talented Tumi from Hotogadi Creations and my stunning shoes from Steve Madden. Anathi from AG Fantasy styled my hair and my gorgeous make-up was done by Vuyo from Veautydolls.
We got married at Louisvale Wines, in Stellenbosch. The venue does not have accomodation on site yet so most of our guests stayed in an around Stellenbosch.
I kept to a decent diet, made sure to cook most of my meals and not eat take away food. Drank lots of water and exercised at least 2 to 3 times a week. I must have lost about 5-7kgs from the start of the year :). I also went for a dentist visit a week before the wedding to make sure my teeth sparkle on the day.
We went for a white and olive colour scheme, with touches of gold. My Pretty Vintage pretty much handled all the decor and furnishings we required. Our plan with them included a mock table, which we viewed and agreed on about 4 months before the actual day.

The groom wore an Ivory Tuxedo jacket with black pants and black loafers. The groomsmen wore black tailored tuxedos. All the tuxedos, bowties and shirts were tailored by Hotogadi Creations. For the shoes, it was every man for himself. The groom and groomsmen went shopping.
The bridesmaids also had their dresses made by Hotogadi Creations. They both had to send their measurements in from different cities and country. Their look was inspired by a pinterest board!
Pastor John Ngcebetsha from Sandton Assemblies of God, in Sunninghill.
We used the services of Matthew Carr Photography, and the services included 10 hours of photography and videography. This also included aerial photography.

We had family members transport us to the venue in their luxury convertibles.
Our food (canapes, starters, mains and dessert) was all prepared by the venue chef at Louisvale and our cake was baked by Christa at Florentines Cakes.

We had DJ Kgabz who also did our sound and lighting for the reception.
For the pre-drinks and start of the ceremony, we had @SimplyStrings play for our guests and the bridal party entrances.
While we took photographs with family and friends, canapés were served to our guests on the upper lawn while @Khuthadzonemakononi graced us with his guitar and beautiful music.
