Having our dogs join us was definitely one of my highlight. They were up front with us at the reception as our ring bearers. The whole wedding was a memorable moment.
My dress was made in a ballroom style. I never dress up so my wedding day was a big exception with a big poofy dress. To keep to my personal comfort level, I bought my favorite sneakers in white and blinged them up myself with lots of glitter to match the Glitter in my dress. Hair and makeup was done by close personal friends. I wore my favorite necklace my husband bought me for my birthday and a bracelet my mother gave me when I graduated high school.
We decided to get married only 4 weeks before the ceremony. So there was almost no time to plan and work still had to continue for the both of us up until the final moments.
I am a horse rider/coach and could keep myself fit by continuing my daily schedule which includes minimum of 30,000 steps a day and riding 1-3 horses a day.
Lynette from Salon La Dontè helped me clear my skin 2 weeks before the wedding. She also did some highlights for me in my hair, although this was done even before we knew the wedding was happening.
