We spent one magical week in tropical Mauritius. Our days were spent sipping tropical cocktails in beach cabanas, snorkeling in the bluest waters, soaking up the sunshine and perfecting our tans! Our warm evenings were spent indulging in Mauritian cuisine and marveling at the fiery, romantic sunsets.
My bridal look was sleek, modern and elegant.
I wore the timeless and minimalistic Orla dress, from Veil Bridal Couture. It is the perfect combination of crepe and lace material with the most beautiful side cut outs leading to an elegant V-backline. The dress was finished with a stunning lengthy lace train. My veil was equally as long, embellished with a lacey leaf trim. Wearing it felt like it was made just for me- it was the perfect dress!
My shoes were part of the Disney X ALDO Princess collection. Clear slippers with sparkling rhinestones over the toes, and a pumpkin on the underside. Very Cinderella!
My bridal makeup was done by the talented Kaylin Klassen, owner of Beauty by Kaylin Klassen. She perfected the naturally chic and elegant look I envisioned for my wedding day.
My hair was styled in sleek low lying bun with a middle part and accented with a sparkly rhinestone decor comb.
I wore minimal jewelry, only wearing diamond teardrop earrings, my engagement ring and of course my wedding ring from Poggenpoel Diamond Jewelers.
