We got married at Valverde Country Hotel in Muldersdrift
We had some guests stay the night in their beautiful hotel suites
We had a shopping day out looking for my wedding dress and their brides maids dresses, was lots of fun
We had a breakfast at the Goddess Cafe in Linden 1 month before my wedding where my brides maids gave me lovely gifts.
Then last week leading up to my wedding I got a beautiful gift delivered to me every day
I had my nails done by Michelle from Helderkruin Nails
Hair was done by Kim Barnet
My colours were Forest Green, Gold and Cream
Tables were all decorated with Beautiful Vases on glass mirrors and inside them were water and gold beads and a floating candle done by my Dad. I made Lotus flowers out of coloured paper which were also on each table. We had made biscuits for each guest as our favors.
It was inside a big hall decorated with fairy lights and draping all around and we added Chinese lanterns all over as well.
The groom wore a black suit and waist coat and forest green tie to match and his groomsmen wore the same colour scheme.
They bought their suits from Truworths Man
My bridesmaids dresses were also Forest Green beautiful and flowy and they were imported from Shein International.
Our marriage officer was one of my Pastors growing up Des Burrows
Our photographer was Warren Anderson, and he was absolutely brilliant. We never had a photo booth but we took amazing pics on my Dads BMW motorbike in the evening.
I didnt have a wedding planner as i planned everything myself.
We hot married at the venue so we never had any special wedding transport
The food was prepared by Valverde staff and my wedding cake was made by Valmarie from Eye of Africa Cakes and events.
I designed with the help of my Dad and Mom digital invitations and communicated on our whatsapp group.
Myself and Ryan didn't take dance lessons, we created our own unique dance which we practiced every day for a month. Our DJ was Chris who was recommended by the venue. He did all the sound and lightning as well.
