I would say this has got to be in the church as I was walking down the aisle realising that I’m marrying my best friend and the minute I saw him I just felt excited and got butterflies all over again.
We were so happy despite things not going as planned. We didn’t argue NOT ONCE we literally just enjoyed being with each other & one another’s company!
When we ran through the gardens and he was chasing me, we were so hungry but our focus was on getting our beautiful video and photos done.
We did not go on honeymoon but we were gifted a 2 nights stay at the Protea Hotel
The look I went for was an elegant, simple classy look, but also something that made me feel like a princess.
My wedding dress was dramatic as it was a 2 in 1. The skirt of the dress can be removed and then the dress is a slim fit dress.

The makeup look I was going for was something to enhance my features, more natural and subtle with a little bit of glam.

My shoes I ordered THREE WEEKS before the wedding on the Shein App, due to me not finding anything I like in the shops (a white wedding shoe).
My jewellery was bought from Lovisa but my watch was gifted to me by my now husband.
Our ceremony was at a Catholic Church St Mary Magdalene and our reception at Meerdam Farm Kraaifontein/Stellenbosch.
Our guest did not stay the night.
I didn’t have much of a regime because I’ve always maintained my skin with keeping myself hydrated.
My lashes I however did at lash core.
Our décor was elegant, we wanted whites, golds and champagne colours.
Flowers were just plain white with a bit of greenery added.
We had fairy lights as a background.
Our set up was done by a catering service Ephraims Events.
My groom wore a three piece suit from Smartmen Suit hire and so did our miniature groom and ring bearer.
The groomsman and best man hired their suits from Mr Suit Hire.
My bridesmaids wore a champagne sparkle bodycon dress that was made by my aunt. My bridesmaids looked elegant.
My flower girls were a pumpkin like dress style also made by one of my aunts. My flower girls looked like little fairies.
My miniature bride wore an all white satin princess dress made by her grandmother. My miniature bride looked like a princess.
The deacon at my church was our marriage officer. Basil Sampson.
Cassidy also known as itsclassic_cass was our photographer and she brought along the videographer. They were amazing and made us feel special throughout the day with the beautiful photos and video they captured on our special day!
We did not have a planner
My father in law provided us with wedding transportation on our wedding day.
The food was prepared by Ephraims catering events
Our cake was baked by sassybakes
Je T’aime Designs (JTD)designed everything for us.
From our wedding invites to our seating plan.
We did not take any dance lessons.
We were recommended the DJ by Ephraims Events.
