We went on honeymoon for a week in SA.
Our first stop was at Botlierskop were we stayed for three nights.
The experience was amazing. When we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of bubbly as well as a welcoming snack.
The rooms are beautifully laid out and we received a lovely welcoming card in our unit. We went horse back riding and we went on a safari game drive.
They have great spa facilities were Diaan and I had the best messages and could relax fully.
After that we drove to Hermanus.
Hermanus has always been our quick getaway location.
We love the different activities and markets in Hermanus.
For one night we stayed in a Hotel and afterwards we stayed at Aloe guesthouse.
For the last 3 days we enjoyed various of restaurants and the markets.
On the Sunday we went back home again.
Not too long after this week honeymoon we got the opportunity to go on a second week honeymoon to Mauritius.
We were invited to our friends wedding but thought to make it part of a second honeymoon that we will never forget.
This trip was really nice. We had numerous events that we had to addend.
The wedding, a beach burn festival and an island excursion.
This was definitely the money and memories worth.
I have blond hair and did a short plain curl look.

This ensured that my dress is the focus point.
My dress was amazingly maid by Ilse Roux bridal.
The detail was so beautiful. The material has beats on that almost looks like tree branches flowing through to the bottom were we then added feathers that gave the dress a personality. We went for a tight look but yet the feathers gave the dress a nice flow at the bottom.
My shoes were white with bows on the back.
I did not go big on jewelry because the dress was the focus point. I went with sleek hanging Dimond earrings.
Our wedding rings were made by @Viljoenjuweliers (Instagram) in Worcester.
We got engaged and married at Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway.
This place is very close to our hearts as I grew up on the farm.
We now live on the farm as well.
Diaan is working on the farm and I am working at the venue and accommodation as the chief operations manager (COO)
Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway has three pod houses and four cottages.
In total this can accommodate up to 33 guests.
We also made use of two separate campsites close to the venue.
These campsites can accommodate up to 20 guests per campsite.
The campsites are very private and has their own ablution per campsite.
Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway works with Zulu overland, they bring tents and bedding. This means the guests could just rock up and choose a tent they would like to stay in for the night/s.
The rest of my guests had places to stay at in and around Rawsonville.
