Our wedding day was absolutely phenomenal! Our vendors were a breeze to work with and our day went smoothly. We prioritized food and photos. We have so many amazing photos from our wedding day and all our guests loved the food (Including us). Our wedding started at 13h00 where we got married at St Patricks Catholic Church. After this we hung around taking photos with all the family (We have loads of family) then we went home quick to take adorable photos with our puppy (Daisy) due to the heat of the day she was not too active to jump and ruin the dress (SCORE!!) then off we went to the Reception Venue: Ironwood Barn where we had such a blast with all our friends and family. We danced the night away and as the married couple, we were the last to leave our own wedding at around 2h00 the next morning. We would love to relive the moment every year as it was the best day of our lives!
My Husband surprised me with an amazing trip to the Cederberg Mountain Range. It was a two day drive there, where we stopped over at Beaufort West. The second day we arrived at our amazing accommodation in Cederberg. It was an amazing 5 star lodge called: Simbavati Cederberg Ridge Wilderness Lodge. The service, the food and the accommodation was out of this word. Due to COVID-19 my Husband and I decided it would be too risky to try make arrangements to travel overseas, however when we arrived at the lodge it felt as though we were in another country. Truly recommend this amazing lodge to anyone and everyone I know.
HAIR:
My hair was done by my long time hairdresser, Ame at Sculptures. She is truly the best, when I ask for something she always delivers above and beyond.
MAKE-UP:
My Make-up was done by the incredible Shana Dixon. She also does make up regularly for a top 10 participant of the 2021 Mrs South Africa.
WEDDING DRESS:
I bought my dress from Cherry Blossom Bridal Studio in East London. All I can say is Cheryl made me feel so special all the time and truly allowed me to express myself, which lead to me find the dress of my dreams.
GARTER:
The amazing CANCouture hand made my two garters, one to throw and one to keep!

I tried my best to maintain a healthy moist face skin routine. I drink one fruit blend health shake a day and just ensured that my body and face were glowing as much as possible.
Flowers by Kay: Our venue, Ironwood Barn, did all our set up. The owners Daughter Kiara did all the set up and does the flower arrangements. I told her what I was looking for and she went above and beyond. I loved working with her as she decorates as if it were her own wedding, she has a keen eye and lots of passion for what she does.
The groom and groomsmen all hired suits out from Best Man Suit Hire in East London.
My Hubby wore a grey suit with a navy tie and his boys wore Navy suits with grey ties. They all looked dashing
Hoiden Bridesmaids went above and beyond in creating a unique look for me. My ladies wore an amazing sage colour with a floral print top. Hoiden arranged for the floral print to be printed specifically to meet my vision. I was so happy with there amazing service.

Our wedding food was done by the amazing caterers hired by the Reception venue (Ironwood Barn) they truly organize everything for you. We did Canapes for the guests outside (Starters) and then a buffet style dinner with loads of options, ending with a malva pudding or chocolate brownie dessert.
Our wedding cake was made my by friend who recently started a cake business: The Cake Quest and my golly it was super delicious.
The same friend that my our wedding cake has a degree in graphic design. She arranged everything for us, from menus, name cards, programs, COVID-19 safety procedures to even our amazing Wedding invites!
Our first dance was Choreographed by the talented Jayson and Nikita Dance Academy. The two that run the academy have a lot of passion for their dancing and truly helped us display our love!
Our sound and lighting were done by our vibey DJ: Shane at EL Events Company made our wedding so much fun! The music kept a lot of us dancing the night away!
