My wedding day was magical. My retinue and I had so much fun getting dressed together. Walking down the isle in the church was incredibly special for me as I watched my husband wait in anticipation at the alter for me.
The torrents of rain could not dampen our spirits as we were on an all time high throughout the wedding.
We went to Cape Town for one week
My aim was to be very simple but elegant. My hair was done by Caressa Marrie from Reddz hair salon. My make up was done by the talented Niree Naidoo. My beautiful gown was purchased at La Principessa. My shoes were a gift from my special aunt. My accessories were purchased at Lovisa. Everything came together perfectly once I was dressed and I felt like a princess.
My wedding ceremony was at my beautiful church Radiant Life Ministries.
My reception was at our local town hall called Civic centre. My guests who were from other provinces booked into various lodges and hotels along the South Coast.
I am a truly lucky girl as I have a beautiful bridesmaid who is a beauty therapist by profession that spoilt me for months prior to my wedding. She regularly did facials and skin treatments on my face and pampered me to no end. Jerusha Naicker is the lady who took care of all my beauty regimes.
My health and fitness is always taken care of by the beautiful Natasha Litkie from Trainher fitness.
My decor, flowers and overall setup was out of this world. My every expectation was exceeded beyond words. The talented Claudine Nair of Magical events took complete charge and made my every dream become a reality. The setup was enhanced by intelligent lighting and pyrotechnics which made the reception
beyond perfect.
The Groom and his Groomsmen all wore 3 piece suits as I wanted them to be just as elegant as my Bridesmaids.
The groom's suit was tailor made at Gangarams in Umhlanga. The Groomsmen purchased their suits at a local retailer. All ties and pocket handkerchiefs were tailored according to the style chosen by us.
My stunning Bridesmaids all wore different styles of dresses as I did not want to be prescriptive to them. Each one chose a style that suited their body and preference and had their dresses sewn at different designers. They all looked amazing and did a spectacular job by just being beautiful
Our marriage office was our local Pastor. Rufus Latchmigadu
My special moments were captured by the extremely talented Tyrone Crossman from Tyrone Crossman photography. He was assisted by Shabeer who captures the videography. We did not make use of a photo booth.
The planner that I used is the very talented Claudine Nair who did an exceptional job from my engagement to my bridal shower and my wedding. She is so consistent and always delivers beyond expectations.
We were transported in vehicles that are owned by friends in our local town. We were driven around in a Porsche SUV.
The food was prepared by Claudine Nair and it was a total hit with all our guests. We received numerous compliments after the wedding. People could not stop raving about how good the food was.
The wedding cake was made by the very talented Mallory from Pink Sugar.
All my stationery requests were arranged by Claudine Nair of Magical events. She used the services of various providers locally.
The wedding reception was a great vibe. The entire retinue danced into the hall and kept the guests hyped. Our sound was done by Donevin Pillay and we had the talented Judah Chetty DJ for us. We took dancing classes for months prior to the wedding and my dashing groom and I did a slow dance for approximately two and a half minutes. We then had our retinue join in for a mix of songs which consisted of R&B. We had the extremely good Masood Boomgaard as our MC and he had our guests in stitches for the entire program. Our reception was extremely fun and entertaining. The night ended with the guests dancing until midnight. We had a very fun night.
