Ever heard of instant connection? Our first, undeniable spark turned into a unique and wonderful bond. We had the honor to be able to have our wedding on the family farm. The place my husband grew up. Sharing the special moment with only our closest loved ones. An intimate wedding all pulled together by our family. Mom of the bride planning and organizing from more than 650km away, decorated and set up my brother and his wife. Emcee was my husband's cousin, cake made by my sister in law, photographer my uncle and his wife. hors d'oeuvre done but grooms mom and gran. Definitely a family celebration.

A beautiful off white sweetheart empire dress, with Diamante details on the bodice and waistline, we chose to keep our footwear simple and comfortable opting for a black and white set of Chuck Taylor's. Accessorizing with an emerald green earring, necklace and bracelet set gifted by my dad and a sage green tie. Dressed by mom and my best friends in a full white balconette bra and Brazilian cut lingerie set along with garter belt and white hosiery. Makeup done by a renounded artist Kelly May to finish the look I wore my mother's 40+year old veil that is almost 3metres long.
We had the privilege to host our wedding on the family farm in Gonubie, East London
Keeping it as simple as possible, we opted for standard wooden tables and clear Tiffany chairs, under a beautiful stretch marquee. Using greenery from the vegetation on the farm and using candle and vases we resulted in a classy sage, black and white setting emphasizing the surrounding. Finally the bouquets were handmade by myself.
Custom made sage ties and the basic all black tux, the groom and best man topped off their attire with black chuck Taylor's and handmade boutonnieres made by the myself.
Have the most beautiful maid of honor allowed me to adorn her in a fitted satin one shoulder sage green dress suited for her body type.

A beautiful dark chocolate coca-cola wedding cake made my my sister in law decorated with dried greenery and finally our feast was a delicious 3 meat spit braai along with 3 veg and salad.
We chose to design our own personalized website using photos taken of our engagement by my brother
Creating a Playlist of our favorite songs allowed us to control our music and entertaining our guests with background music.
