There are so many... to say that we would not change a thing, says a lot!! Our day was perfect in every way (we just missed some family and friends who were unable to attend due to the pandemic).
We had so much fun and took time throughout the day/night to appreciate all the hard work and effort which went into making our day perfect. Thank you so everyone involved in making our fairy tale come true. It is the best wedding we have ever attended xx
Yes, we went to Kandima Island, Maldives. It was the most incredible week of eating, drinking, snorkeling, relaxing at the pool, morning runs/walks, and reflecting on our perfect wedding!
Finding the perfect dress was probably the most stressful part of the wedding for me, until I met Chanelle Cindy who made all my wedding dress dreams come true!! My dress was simple, yet elegant, and most importantly for me it was comfortable. I loved every detail and had so much FUN wearing it- I felt like a true princess!!
Feather jacket- this was a dream addition to my outfit. A custom bomber jacket with 21m of ostrich feathers made by Found Collection.
Shoes- I wore a simple block heel from Aldo, and later on changed into a pair of leopard print sneakers from Sweetpeas Handmade, which I danced the night away in.
Hair- the lovely Carissa Bosman did all our hair. I wanted something simple, more of a dressed up ponytail, and she go this spot on.
Make Up- Marnel Torien did our make up. It was natural and light, and I am just so happy how it turned out.
Jewellery- Anna Rosholt did our rings, as well as my necklace and other rings. My necklace was a gift from my mom on the morning of our wedding, made from gold and stones from her original wedding ring. She wears the matching bracelet.

We got married at the beautiful Rockhaven Farm in the Elgin Valley.
The bridal party stayed on the farm, and guests stayed over at neighboring farms for the weekend.
With breath-taking views, gourmet dining, delicious wines and a magical ambiance, this is where your forever story begins.
We live a very active and healthy lifestyle, however I had a personal trainer for the 12 months leading up to the wedding. Other beauty treatments I did included derma planing the week before the wedding, and the standard mani's and pedi's. I wanted to look as natural as possible, so opted out of any treatments which I wouldn't usually do.
We wanted a bold color palate, but simple. The final product was exactly how we pictured it!
Flowers and bouquet- Paradiso

The Groom and his groomsmen wore navy suits, white shirts, tan belt and tan shoes. They looked incredible!! All with matching flamingo socks!
I am a lover of tulle and sequins... so this is what my bridesmaids wore. we had messy tulle skirts made in a dusty pink, with sequin tops in a champagne. They looked stunning!
Kobus Pauw married is. We did an 8 week pre-marriage course with him leading up to the wedding, and couldn't have had a more appropriate person marry us.
Sian Owen is just AMAZING!!! We do not have words to describe how happy we are with our photographs- she was an absolute pleasure to work with!!
My mom did all the planning leading up to the day. On the day, the owner of the venue, Liz, did the coordinating. It couldn't have been more perfect!
Salt & Pepper Catering prepared our food- James was a delight to work with and his food was out of this world! Our Guests are still talking about the food... We did starters as hot and cold canapes which were served butler-style after the ceremony. The mains were served as a family buffet to the tables.
We had 6 wedding cakes, different sizes and flavors. They were absolutely delicious and equally as beautiful- prepared by Kerri at CaKe.
Wendy from Indigo & Ivory Designs did most of our stationery, including the Welcome sign, the order of events, seating plan, menu, and the labels on our mini cookie jars.
Stationery such as table numbers, tags on ceremony seats, etc we did ourselves.
