My wedding day was unforgettable, but the ceremony was a highlight for me. Saying your vows to each other felt so unreal and so magical. It was the best moment of my life. At the end of the ceremony, the groom surprised me with a song. He sang to me the same song his grandfather sang for his grandma on their wedding day. It was a moment I will never forget. It was incredibly special.

Uncle of the groom, Wilfred Du Plessis. It made our wedding day even more special for us. The groom's grandfather conveyed the message at he ceremony and the groom's uncle married us. It made everything so personal and special to know our family could have a part in our joining and becoming one to each other.

The food was made by the wedding venue's kitchen staff. I have no words to describe how delicious the food was,...well maybe I can say this and it should give you a good idea. It is almost 4 months after the wedding and my guests are still talking about the delicious food they ate at the wedding.

My wedding invitation was my idea but I struggled a little to get someone to do it for me. Droom Ontwerpe said yes to the challenge and was excited to help me. It was fun to work with her and my invitation and other wedding stationery was incredibly beautiful and exactly what I wanted.
