No unfortunately not, I immediately had to go back to work, and we are still saving up to be able to go for a well deserved honeymoon.
My wedding dress was a one of a kind. It was a mermaid look but it was definitely not the classic mermaid look, it was tight on the top and slowly flaired out till the bottom with a beautiful long tail with so much detail, a lace open back with fine buttons going down till at the dimple of my back. A beautiful dream dress showing just enough to make it the perfect dress. This dress was my first try and at first look it immediately took my breath away. The dress had so much layers and each layer was beautiful on its own. With the pattern material on top and a glitter layer to give the dress it's own sparkle was absolutely breathtaking. The dress is a off white ivory colour. Just perfect. The whole time wearing the dress not once did I feel uncomfortable I never wanted to get out of the dress.
The pattern and shape of the dress was something worth turning heads. I got my dress at our local wedding store at Brides Choice, Ermelo. The owner Natasha makes the dresses herself and makes you feel like a total princess while fitting into her spectacular dresses.
My shoes was a wide heel snake skin white heels. So so comfortable I could walk in the the whole day till late after the party. I got my shoes at a website/app called Superbalist.
My hair was just so so comfortable no head aches, no mess, no fuss. I wore my hair in a messy braid on both sides and at the back it came together into a really messy curly bun. With lose curly string hanging from the side and at the back, (the up do with the hair just works well with a open back dress) my hair was done at the salon at Ermelo. Yes I did my hair and make-up the morning of the wedding in Ermelo and went to White River for the wedding. And my hair held up the whole day actually till the next morning I was so impressed, and I Absolutely Loved my hair.
I did my make-up the morning of the wedding right before we drove to White River. The day before the wedding I had my first try for the make up (it worked out perfect, because it was our day before wedding dinner celebration so I looked gooood) my make-up was perfect, I felt so so beautiful with my make-up and it just brought everything together. I have blue eyes and my make-up artist made me look so gorgeous, my eyes were very blue the day of the wedding. I loved it. A light pink lip believe me it looked very kissable then, my eyes with different shades of brown and a touch of pienk and little shimmer in the crease of my eye, natural looking lashes for the photos and a highlight that shined for days! Jewellery was jut my wedding ring, a Baracelette with a family tree symbol to symbolize the new beginning of your future together and to finish it off diamond earings.
Lingerie, no bra it was not needed for the dress. And a beautiful white lace . . . Perfect for a wedding.
The look was all put together with a wonderful team and my Amazing mother helping me all the way. Without them nothing was possible.
Our wedding was at our local church. Not all of our friends and family were able to be there due to work, and covid so we had our wedding in church and had you photos taken at the BEAUTIFUL venue Whispering Thornes, White River.
We offer our guests a unique setting in which they are able to feel completely at home.
I worked out HARD! a wanted to look really good for our wedding day. With my open back I wanted it to look great.

Six months before the wedding I went for a deep cleanse facial.
Drank lots of water and just enjoyed myself. I felt great for our wedding day I would not change anything!
We had finger foods. And minimal decor.
Unfortunately we could not afford to pay the Whole wedding celebration, due to Covid.
So we got a place near the venue and my parents and inlaws got everything together for us to celebrate together. Of course we wished we could have the dream tables and flowers and decor but at the end we had so much fun and laughter it was just perfect for us.
We had so much fun as a family together and at the end, it was beautiful and kind of spectacular. No regrets and we felt special the whole time.
My Groom wore, a all black suit, just perfectly perfect. With a bright white button down shirt, and black tie, dark brown formal shoes with blue shoelaces.
He did his own hair. He got a haircut a day or two days before the wedding, also done my Karima.
He did his hair in Ermelo, and drove to the venue we used for the photos. He had no groomsmen, and he just looked great. Could not have asked for anything other. We bought his suit from Superbalist, Markham and Truworths.
I unfortunately had no bridesmaids.

Oh don't get me started. We had THE best photographer ever! We were so grateful that he could be part of our wedding day, and captureing the most beautiful memory of our lives. We used Daniel West. One of the most talented photographer out there.
All the way he makes you feel comfortable and beautiful. There was no awkward silence, once, we talked and laughed a lot. Since we started he makes sure that you are comfortable and at the same time fast working and shooting the love between you and your loved one, and he did an amazing job.
He called us on our names since we started, and that for me was awesome, because it made you feel wanted and he made you feel welcome. He was so talkative and never once made you feel unwanted or uncomfortable.
The finished photos, when we got them I was blown away, it was just absolutely breathtaking. I honestly had no words. I would definitely recommend using him as your photographer when you have a wedding. He absolutely goes out of his way to make your photos look great and that is what I enjoyed the most working with him.
He definitely IS the talented behind the camera.
No, did everything myself.
Just our regular cars. My sister inlaw was my drive in a white Audi A3.
My mom, my mother inlaw, my aunt and grandmother was incharge of the food.
Our wedding invitations was cut put on wood A5 size, design and made At our local printing company service. Printdit.
My husband is a born to dance, dancer so yes it was great, he made it so much fun. But due to covid non of these extras could be affordable. So the place we used for accommodation, were in Marloth, and it was just absolutely fine and perfect. We couldn't have done it any other way.
