We started off our honeymoon at Blue Crane Farm Lodge (Botrivier). It's a beautiful farm house with a hot tub, unlimited wood supply and beautiful views. Thereafter we went to Copia Eco Cabins which is basically just across the road. We loved the decor, cozy fireplace, amazing views and how peaceful it was there. After the cabins we finished off our honeymoon at Belle Maroc in Bloubergstrand. It was the perfect end to our first vacation as Mr & Mrs. Our room felt like it was literally on the beach, we had a beautiful view of table mountain from our bed, it was a lovely experience.
We got married at Letsatsi Lodge, Vanrhynsdorp. It's a beautiful venue with accommodation so our guests spent both Friday evening and Saturday evening at the venue's accommodation.
The venue consists of our historic Catholic Church with its original wooden benches and the original restored organ dating from 1904s.
We went for a simplistic look of white, black and gold. We hired our cutlery and underplates from All Things Weddings in Wellington and bought our candle holders, napkins and flower vases from Mr Price Home. Our flowers was a mixture of different white flowers combined with greenery and some blackberries - this was done by Liezl from Wild & Orgidee (Vredendal).
Da'taan Productions was in charge of our wedding pictures and video. They are 3 sisters working together and they are absolutely amazing and extremely passionate about their job. What made it extra special was that they were also the ones who captured our engagement on the day (my husband arranged for them to capture the actual moment).
Our church, venue and accommodation were all located closely together on the same premises so the only transportation we had was a cute white golf cart with wedding bells.
Our food was from Letsatsi Lodge's restaurant and our wedding cake was made by Dalene Radyn (Wellington).

I designed/created all of our wedding stationery by myself and printed, cut, binded etc. it together with my mom. Every guest recieved a wedding timeline together with the lyrics to the song we sang in church. On the tables were name tags I made and I also designed and printed stickers to paste on the back of our 'thank you'-gifts.
