Our wedding story is a bit different. Due to Covid and moving our wedding 3 times, we had a small ceremony on a farm in Potch. Later in the year, the date that we were originally supposed to be married, we decided to get in our proper wedding attire and get our dream wedding pictures taken. My best memory of that is going to a café later that evening still in dress and suit… such a fun memory to hold on to forever
We road tripped to Knysna earlier this year and stayed in a modern wooden barn house looking into the water. Waking up every morning to that sound and taking a dip in Brenton on Sea beach was to die for !
My look and the shoot was very boho and DIFFERENT. My stunning dress came all the way from Perth where in 2018 I flew down to find my dream dress with my mom who moved there. My shoes were my “something blue” and I wore very minimal jewelry as my dress definitely stole the show. My hair and make up was plain and simple with a bit of oompf and to top it all off.. a beautiful flower crown to match my beautiful bouquet

Big ups to Carmex for keeping me calm and collected a week before my day. My hair was colored and ready and nails done to compliment my beautiful rings by a close nail tech!
My flowers were mainly dried out pampas, wheat, cotton plant and small white flowers such as baby’s breath to compliment it! As I said, my florist made me a stunning flower crown to match it.
We later went into a field during golden hour and took pictures with a wooden half moon with similar flowers of my bouquet decorating it. The soft golden sun rays created the most beautiful caramel effect, perfect for the boho look.
The groom wore a trendy checked black and grey suit while the groomsmen wore a simple grey suit, leather bow tie and really cool cement lego block shaped cuff links
My stunning bridesmaids wore a sleek black bodysuit with a long emerald green satin skirt… WITH POCKETS! How cool and unique. The each wore a different pair of black earrings that I gifted them.
We signed our papers earlier in the year so for our big day we did a vow renewal / love letter to each other. We’ve been through a lot so hearing beautiful words from each other was just so breathtaking
