Getting ready with my bridesmaids and my mother was very special and the buildup of excitement was tangible the whole day. The whole day was unbelievable everything we wanted but my favourite moment was when the doors opened and I started my walk down the aisle and I could see the look on my partners face. Our first dance was also a moment to remember, felt like a fairy tale.
Yes we did a local trip to Cape Town. 2 nighta on the remarkable house boata at Kraalbaai, most stunning view and sunset. Spent the rest of the week in Bloubergstrand and did all the tourist stuff we never get to do.
Wedding hair was all curls hanging loose with a pin up fringe- Done by Yolandi fromYou’nique Hair in Heidelberg. Make up was a bit more dramatic with a darker lip,perfecr for winter - Done by Cloe & Co. Dress was princess ballgown in a soft latté colour with long sleeves consisting of beautiful lace- From The Bridal House. Jewellery and accessories were my own.

I didnt have a big strict routine, I ate healthy and continued with my normal skin regime. Drank lots of water,kept stress levels low and get enough sleep.

We got legally married before the weekend at a Pastors house so that we can have one of our best friends officiate our ceremony on the day. This made it so special as he knows us very well and this way we get to include the people we love in the ceremony.
The best photographer in the country- Stella Uys, her photos are breathtakingly beautiful and the best Ive ever seen. She is also a friend of ours so ofcourse we were so comfortable infront of the camera and that shines through on the photos. Our videographer Tintype Productions was professional and friendly and still waiting on the final product.

We did everything digitally and designed it ourselves.
Reception was incredible and so much fun. We love dancing and know how to so no lessons were needed, however we did choreograph our own first dance and it was perfect.
