One of the most memorable moments that stood our for me was when I was coming down the aisle and seeing how emotional my soon to be husband was. That was just absolutely beautiful.
Oh yes we went on honeymoon for about a week to the beautiful Mossel Bay. I have never been so we wanted to explore outside of Cape Town. Everyday was a different experience and we would explore the beautiful Mossel Bay. We took hikes up The Point to enjoy the exceptional views and enjoyed picnics in the Harry Gwala Park.
I went for a very elegant look. I wanted everything to be elegant and classy.
With my hair I went for a very classic upstyle hairdo as I was wearing a very long cathedral veil.
I had on a mermaid style dress with a beautiful train for a little bit of drama.
For my shoes, I wanted something comfortable that I could walk in whole day. I went for a Diamante block heel by Steve Madden.
My lingerie I purchased from the very capable ladies at Bra's n things. They did an amazing job in assisting me with comfortable but amazing items.
My jewellery I purchased from Lovisa. I purchased these beautiful rose gold earrings and matching necklace. Rose gold has become my favorite color, but I opted to only wear the earrings as it would have been a bit too much being.
The venue we got married at was the beautiful Morgensrust Wedding Venue in Joostenberg Vlakte, Kraaifontein. All our guests live relatively close so it was not necessary to overnight.
My decor was definitely inspired by my favorite color rose gold. I felt that the rose gold is such an elegant and classy color and that is what I was going for. We had white Phoenix chairs and white table cloths which made the rose gold stand out more and be more prominent. We had white and rose gold lanterns with a white and rose gold candle. We had clear underplates with a rose gold trim, clear vases with hints of rose gold and beautiful roses in them.
As I wanted everything very elegant, the groom and groomsmen had on black tuxedos with bowties. We opted that the groomsmen wear white shirts and the groom wear a black shirt so then he was dressed in all black.

Our marriage officer was Ds Donald Katts from the Volkskerk van Afrika in Kraaifontein.
Our day was captured by the amazing Melissa Naude Photography!!! The one thing I told her was is that I want very beautiful photos as these are your forever memories. She knew just when she wanted shoot due to sunlight being too bright she opted to do the bridal shoot closer to the end of the day, giving her excellent lighting. She exceeded my expectations and did an amazing job!
Our planner was Chanelle Thiart. She is the coordinator at Morgensrust Wedding Venue. She was amazing in sourcing our decor and getting everything ready. We definitely couldn't have done it without her.
The canapés, starter, mains and the dessert were all prepared by the venue, Morgensrust Wedding Venue.
Our Wedding cake was outsourced and it was made by Ibtishaam bakes.
We had beautiful little wooden thank you tags made by epro laser cutting.
