We were planning on exploring Thailand (maybe that became be our "2nd" honeymoon as we have never been overseas) but decided to become tourists in our own area due to COVID and travel restrictions. So we had our 'mini honeymoon' in Plett. We favoured Plett as our honeymoon destination because we are campers at heart and Plett is our #1 camping spot. But don't worry we didn't go camping on our honeymoon. We have never stayed in a hotel in this area ( only camped) so my husband surprised me and booked us in a fancy hotel - The Sky Villa Boutique Hotel. We then got go explore Plett more and the surrounding areas. After all the excitement from the wedding (planning and all) we decided to take it easy on our honeymoon and finally enjoy our time together as a married couple. We did do a few activities such as explore Birds of Eden and go on a game drive.
