I enjoyed every part of my wedding day, it was one of the happiest days of my life :-) My most memorable part was walking down the isle to “When I first saw you” by Jamie Fox and Beyoncé and the love of my life coming to get me from my dad. My second most memorable part was me singing for my husband at the reception.
My wedding dress was an off the shoulder mermaid dress with a long trail, I bought the dress from Bridal wardrobe, it’s an Enzoani dress.
My make up was done by Pammy the Make up Artist from Cape town. We went for a bridal look.
My shoes were open toes bought from Socrati Shoes at Sandton City.
I wore all white lingerie from the Distraction collection at Woollies.
In 2005, a new bridal collection emerged and quickly rose to compete with top brands by merging traditional and modern European styles into exquisitely hand crafted gowns.
We got married at Belair Pavilion in Paarl, Capetown. Some of our guests stayed the night and some stayed in surrounding hotels.
I would jog 5- 7km at least 3 times a week and did weight training at least twice. I followed a low carb diet doing an intermittent fasting routine daily. I drank a lot of water and started using Skin Phd products for my face, starting with their facial.

My colour scheme was all shades of pink, a bit of purple and rose gold accents. Each table had a flower arrangement to that effect. Clear under-plates with rose gold lining and rose gold cutlery. We went for bare wooden tables with a soft blush pink tulle table runner.

The groom and groomsmen wore tuxedos with groom’s jacket white and black and the groomsmen all black. They got their suits from Eurosuits
The bridesmaids wore dusty pink mermaid dresses with a satin bottom and crystal lace top. Each bridesmaid’s top was different from the others. The dresses were inspired by a look we saw on Pinterest and we had Jilani the dressmaker put them together.

We had an evening reception that was filled with so much fun and laughter. Due to COVID regulations we had to miss out on the after party, Yanga the MC handled the program very well and DJ Sebenzile kept us on our feet.
