Every Single moment was a highlight and memorable, Usually people would be very negative about weddings, always saying it's a waste of money for only one day. It is definitely sad that it is only one day, it should be a weekend or maybe a week. My day started out amazing with my soon to be husband sending me such a beautiful message. After that I was so spoiled by my mother and all my bridesmaids. I got a nice bubble bath with champagne and ate a very nice breakfast. We started getting ready with music and laughter in the background. After getting ready my dad walked in and the reality kicked in it was so special for me to be able to still have both my parents there. We took some photo's and my Gran met me in the passage just before my dad and I walked in. She practically raised me. She is 85 and survived covid 19 and was able to make my special day alot more special. We walked in and then I saw him the most handsome man on this planet and know my Husband, I am so blessed from there everything went so quick, we were able to dance and spent time with everyone including each other, but the most special part was when we went to bed... He treated me so much we had a bath and then we spoke till the morning hours about how amazing our day was and how happy we were about the promise we made to each other and to the Lord.
Yes, of course, we really wanted to go to Greece, but unfortunately because of Covid-19 we could only go to Cape Town. We made the most of it and tried to make every moment special but we both got a stomach bug the last few days and had to stay home half of our honeymoon.
The wedding look was a modern and rustic vibe combined, colors were burgundy, protea pink, green, white, rose gold. The flowers were roses, orchids, protea's and greenery. My hair was an up do style with pearls inside. My make-up was very plain and light matching colors of the wedding. My wedding dress was epic. Lace sleeves, giving me some cleavage, my back was open lace on the sides with pearl buttons all down to my lower back, the dress was white with a semi cream train as well as lace on the train and my vail was of the same material. The utmost beautiful dress ever. All my thanks to Michelangela Bridal Boutique. My shoes were very comfortable and I paid a full R70 for them, never for one moment disappointed. I only had pearl earing that was designed by my husband, and made by one of his close friends.

The reception was great all was so perfect. Oopsie Daisy did all our Décor and flower arrangements. Our DJ was awesome his name is Ruan and he did the lighting and music. We had a live band in the beginning of the day for the service and canapés. No, we did not get dance lessons we bought a business and rebuilt the same time we had to plan our wedding. We had the most amazing dance ever.
