3 days was spent at: Out of Africa on Vaal.

Our pit stop was in Parys, the quiet little Free State town for breakfast doing site seeing though there abundance of Antiques and Gift shops. Our 2nd stopover was with Dockside Lodge and Tented Camp
"From arrival to departure, we felt welcome and at home". The atmosphere is great and very social, their chalet/tents are also very comfortable and clean. Great fishing spot. !!! Honestly, we will definitely be returning for future ventures to Dockside where we were not just treated like a friend but more like Family......
Fishing as our honeymoon was the best Time ever, we ended our experiences with a nice boat cruise on the Vaal Marina Dam.

We got Married in Meyerton @Rivier Plaas Wedding Venue.
They are affordable, accompanied with excellent service, beautiful gardens and view of the river, the food was DELICIOUS & very beautifully displayed.
Monica and her team were extremely accommodating and helpful they turned our wedding into exactly what we hoped for and so much more!
They offer very beautiful Accommodation for the bride and groom and close family
However @ Kombuisplaas only 3 min from the venue our guest where able to stay for the night in very spacious and well maintained chalets.
Again my guests were very pleased with the overall service & staff attention to guest satisfaction
My Beauty regime was very basic as not a lot of treatments was required

Our Venue: River Plaas. Offers you a choice of either utilising their own menu or you can have self catering option...
We choose their menu and was again very satisfied with the food for our guests.
The wedding Cake (Biltong & Droëwors Cake) was made by a very creative family member my Aunt, this was very personal & special for our day
I love being creative a great passion of mine. I am responsibly for my designs and printing.
Our first Dance was very special what a moment for the two of us to focus on one another.
No we did not go for any dance lessons.
Our reception was great fun music was upbeat & lifely, people were dancing the whole time...
The venue offered a list of Dj's for selection.
We chose, DJ - De Wet he is young and up to date with the latest songs and just knew how to keep the party mood going.
We could party until 00:00. Advantage to the family & friends staying close to the venue.....
