Our story began at the age of 13. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would one day promise our infinite love to one another. Our day was filled with laughter, tears of joy and intimate moments. Our Ceremony was filled with joy. I humbled myself before my husband and washed his feet as a symbol of my love and humility, just as Christ did in John 13:1-17. We then participated in the eucharist and gave thanks to God. We were now one within Christ.
Our favourite song from when we were 14 years old played as we exited the church, and the festivities began. The notes of Come Prima sung by Patrizio Buanne led us into our first dance, my husbands grandfather used to sing this song to them when they were little.
After that, we danced the night and morning away and only got to bed at around 3am, we savored every moment, every tear and every memory.
We were fortunate enough to travel to a beautiful blue island in the maldives. There we once again realized how blessed we are to be able to experience beautiful places and moments with one another.
My Wedding look was elegant and classy. My hair was done by the Fabulous Fatima Ally from Urban Chic, we opted for a down do with lots of texture and definition. My makeup complimented my hair and was done by Donique Leonard from Flawless Makeup by Donique, and that is exactly what my makeup was, it was Flawless. My dress was designed and made by the exquisite Anel Botha and her team from Anel Botha Couture. My jewellery was gifted to me by my mother in law and my hair accessories were gifted by my sisters. Our venue was Stable view Wedding venue which has a warm, farm feeling. Guests stayed over in neighboring farms and guesthouses
I followed my lifestyle that I had before. I went to gym 5 times a week in the morning and did hot yoga in the evenings. I also maintained a healthy diet. My teeth were cleaned and polished the week before my wedding by the Dental Ladies. My skin was taken care of by Monique from Lovanna Studio by doing regular peels and using professional swiss color skin care.
Our wedding was based on a simplistic, greenery, gold and neutrals idea. We had greenery draped in a rectangular shape from the ceiling with warm white light bulbs. The tables were rustic and white washed wooden tables. The Chairs were clear tiffany chairs. The table runners were a cream color chiffon and greenery with pops off soft pink roses and white roses which formed the centre pieces. Our serviettes were olive green and pale pink with our wedding logo embroided on by the amazing team from Sun & Bloom co. The menus were printed on frosted perspex and the name plates were also perspex.
The main Table had an off white chiffon curtain hanging as a back drop with fairy lights in-between. Different sized golden candle stands amd crystal candle stands were placed in between the greenery on the main table and the floor in front of the table.
All floral arrangements were done by Hada Decor.
My Husband took my breath away in an all black suit, a black under jacket and black shoes, which was bought from Eurosuit. To compliment his suit he wore a black rolex watch which was a gift.
The groomsmen wore black suit pants, white collar shirts, black suspenders and a black tie also hired from Eurosuit.
The socks were printed on with our wedding logo as well as the name of the groomsmen by Sun & Bloom co.
My Bridesmaids looked absolutely perfect in olive green, soft flowy dresses with a low bust. The dresses were made by Julene Rokebrand from Julene Atelier. They wore fine gold necklaces, a fine gold arm chain and nude shoes.

We had the Most Amazing team of Photographers and videpgraphers from Margaux Cronjé Photography. They captured our whole journey, from the engagement shoot, to the boudoir shoot and then our wedding day. I didn't think it was possible to truly capture love in a photo, and Margaux proved me wrong. Margaux and Her team definitely know what they are doing and they made it so much fun
We made use of a photobooth through a company called photoboo-thing. They were so helpful and really did everything in their power to ensure we were happy.
Moniqur Nel from Sun & Bloom co. Was our wedding planner. The wedding planning was a breeze as she took most if not all the stress off our plate. She made us feel calm in times where we felt overwhelmed and she truly exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't have been able to do it without her.
Stable view venue supplied the chef for the food and my my my, was it Delicious! We wanted to incorporate the food we love into our wedding and the chef was more than willing to accommodate us.
The wedding cake was made by Caitlin from Bravery Bakes.
