The highlight of our wedding was walking towards my handsome husband, with my parents I hadn't seen him and his vows. He referenced a line from one my favourite movies.
No sadly we didn't go on honeymoon due to Covid and we need to save up for this.
My wedding look was traditional yet sexy in all the right places.
My dress was designed by Nupt Bridal. What I love most about my dress is the drama of the sleeves and the slit.
My make up was by Aghogho Bee, who owns BeezGlam she made me look remarkable!
My hair was cut by Lajawi Hair, we went with a pixie cut which I love.
My shoes were blue, for something blue.
My veil was made by my beautiful mother in law, the beads she used were from her veil from her wedding day.
My Earrings were stunning and borrowed from my older sister
We got married at Beechwood Gardens, in Hydepark Johannesburg. It's a beautiful blank canvas, with stunning greenry and flowers. The event started at 11am and ended at 19pm, our guests didn't stay the night.
The amazing owner Anna, went above and beyond to make our wedding special. We had 32 guests, we sat under a tent which had ferry lights centered in the stunning gardens, with a saxophonist playing music in the background.
We went with bold colors, so our flowers were bright and bold, most importantly they weren't distracting on the table so we could see our guests and faces.
The chairs used for the ceremony, were also used for the reception / lunch at a U shape set up.

He hired his suit from Bride and Co and looked incredible .
Craig Moola was our marriage officer, he was incredible and made the ceremony so special and uniquely relevant for us as a couple.
We virtually met Maxine (@MaxineRichardsphotography on Instagram) a few weeks before the wedding to get to know each other and discuss the day. On the day of the wedding, she made us feel so comfortable, confident and also encouraged me to eat as the bride - which I loved and appreciated! The way she captured our loves was breathtakingly beautiful and so so special. I wouldn't work with anyone else.
