To start things off, our initial date was set to be in the 7th of November 2020, unfortunately due to the pandemic our dream got postponed to 13th of February 2021.
Once again due to the ban of alcohol and the limit on outside gatherings we had to move our date again, third time lucky they say...
Finally on the 20th of November 2021 we got to have our special day. It started pouring down just after our ceremony and we were blessed with a double rainbow. It had it's effects on our photoshoot though limiting our time.
If I must highlight a few special moments it would be:
- The first time I fitted my dress on with my mom.
- Sharing the last night as Miss Dönges with
my parents.
- Walking down the aisle with my dad.
- My husband's face as I walked down the aisle.
- Our first dance as Mr and Mrs Visser.
Everything about our day was perfect including the Rain.
We were on a mini honeymoon for 2 days after our wedding at Dinokeng Game Reserve.
For our main honeymoon we went to Cape Town in Blouberg beach.
My wedding dress was from Timeless Bridal Couture in Lynnwood.
My earrings was bought from Lovisa and my shoes from YDE.
My makeup was done by the incredible Yolanda Small from MUD and my hair was done by Naomi Meyer, she was just the best.
Steven designed my stunning wedding ring which was then made by Marion Rehwinkel jewellery.

I was able to go to my sister Eliska Dönges for quite a few facial treatments at Lightsculpt in Bedfordview. I also used a lot of facial products from them like Dr. Schrammek and Dermaquest. She is just the best!
My lashes and eyebrows was done by Luzjaane at LDK beauty in Pretoria.
My beautiful flowers was done by Alan and Armand from Caar'i Flora in Pretoria. My colour theme was rose gold, green and white.
My mother planted different types of succulents in pots for the chapel aisle.
Everything was exactly the way we wanted it to be.

The Groomsmans suits were dark grey with black shirts and ties from Woolworths. My husband had his suit made at tiptop tailor in Menlyn Pretoria. Its was dark olive green with a white shirt and golden tie.
We were lucky to get the bridesmaids dresses on special at YDE in Menlyn it was a copper color.
My mom made the maid of honor (my sister's) dress herself.

We thought we were going to design and print the menus, seating plan and thank you cards but left it for the last minute and it did not work at all LOL!!
Thank you so much to Anni who works with me and does design work every day she was able to design the menu's, seating plan and thank you cards last minute, we printed it at Print kings Co in Menlyn.
We had Louis Horn from Skybell Events as our DJ.
