Our Boho Inspired Wedding Day, was truly a fairytale come true.
The highlight and most memorable moments of our special day, was when I got to marry the absolute love of my life.... To see his emotions as I walked down the aisle towards him.... Just to feel emotions inside my heart like never before, it was an overflowing feeling of love and all the happiest feelings all mixed together x 100.
We had all our closest family and friends surrounding us - witnessing our unity, which made our day even more memorable.
My grandfather walked me down the aisle, which was one of the most special moments on our wedding day, as he only had 6 sons, and no daughters. My grandmother was so excited about our wedding, but we sadly lost her 3 weeks before our wedding day. We had a memorial table with all of our loved ones that we have lost, to have them be part of our wedding day.
May I just say.....We had the best honeymoon ever!
We had an adventurous spur-of-the-moment garden route road trip for 2 weeks.
Not planning a single thing, we went wherever the wind took us.
Starting from PTA, we travelled to Colesburg, from Colesburg we went to J-bay, from J-bay to Plett, from Plett to Knysna, From Knysna to Oudshoorn to Stilbaai, from Stilbaai to Cape Agulas to Hermanus, From Hermanus to Cape Town.
My wedding look was fully boho chic. It was my dream to look like a boho queen, and all the service providers helped me pull it off so amazingly!!! I will forever be grateful!

We got married at the beautiful God's Gift Events in Zwavelpoort, Pretoria.

I'm not really a girly girl, and I never wear makeup, go to spa's or use any beauty products on my face. The girliest thing I did was getting my nails done at Sorbet.
I did use a natural toothpaste (Nature Fresh) to keep my teeth white. The night before the wedding, I soaked in a bathtub with bath salts, lavender bath bomb and did a body scrub, to make my skin super soft.
My lifestyle is to eat really clean and healthy - fruit, veggies, beans, etc. Also, drink lots of water (I've been vegan for 7 years)
For fitness, I exercise at home to YouTube videos. My favourite YouTube channel is fitnessblenders.
My vision for the decor, was to have everything very natural and as boho possible. We wanted the whole outdoor forest vibe.
The colours I went for, was sage green and beige.
I had the macrame made by macrame art - cinnamon collection. The pompass grass we bought at Meadow Stuff.
The table decor, furniture, lighting & stage setup was all done by our venue. Some of the decor we made ourselves, such as the table numbers, pompoms on the altar, and the vases with the different dried flowers and pompass grass. We also set up the sweetie table - jars are from PEP home, and the sweets was from West Pack.
The bouquet, boutonnière, flower crown and bridesmaids bouquets were all done by my dear friend - Hope Greef. And the cake and cupcakes were made by another friend of mine, Anucka Dos Ramos.
The groom wore a dusty blue-grey pair of chinos, that we actually found at PQ Clothing. We bought his bow tie and suspenders at the Chinese mall. His white shirt was from Woolworths and his shoes were from Mr. Price.

The bridesmaids wore dusty blue skirts, white shirts and nude block hills.

Our Marriage Officer was Pastor Danie Hartzer.
He delivered such a beautiful ceremony, and based the message around our unity - tree panting ceremony.
Our photographer was Unaresa from Ferngreen Photography. She is absolutely brilliant with capturing the most special moments. We will forever have the most beautiful memories to look back at.
Our Videographer was Victoria from Victoria Leoa Productions. This girl is the best videographer ever! She captured our special day, as if it was a fairytale movie!!
Our venue - Gods gift Events made the best food ever!!!!

This lady designed our menu's, seating plans, name tags, wedding invitations, etc. to the exact way we described to her what we wanted.
The reception was absolutely beautiful. We took dance lessons, because we both have two left feet.... we were quite surprised what a beautiful dance our teacher choreographed for us.
Our DJ was AMA Promotions, they did all the sound and music for us, on our special day.
