Due to Covid myself and my husband decided to stay in our beautiful country and revisited Uvongo which is situated in Kwazulu-Natal.
I always pictured myself in a beautiful plain white dress.

I decided to dress my beautiful girls in beautiful comfortable maroon dresses as this was our wedding colours, we also went for a basic, elegant look.
Our marriage officer was Ds. Willie Coetzee from the Lewensentrum church in Alberton.
Our photographer Rina Coetzee “b-you wedding photography” was absolutely excellent.
Our wedding venue had a planner part of the package . Which I thought was absolutely great! Lea was so helpful and when it came to our wedding day I did not have to worry about anything.
We did not arrange for any transport as the reception, the church and our overnight stop were all situated on the premises of the venue.
The venue prepared our food which was a three course meal- canapés for straters, main meal and dessert ( including our wedding cake for dessert) Our wedding cake was made by a lady in Brits “Busy bee bakery”.
Because we got married in the middle of Summer in November we decided on having waters with a special label on for our guests as they walked into the church. Our thank you gifts were Kit- Kats with a printed wrapper around it.
This was all made by a lady named Mellony all the way from Kimberley “Glinster Glans”.
Our DJ was the best!! We did not take any dance lessons, we just went with a more natural flow. Our DJ was Sean Duncan “Dj 2 Hire” We danced all night until curfew!
