Our wedding day was extraordinary, emotional and so much fun. The whole morning was a day spent with the most loved women in my life. I'm not going to lie, I was so proud of myself for not begin emotional the whole morning. We drank champagne and listened to music.
Later that morning I did a reveal with my dad and very suddenly emotions poured over me and my dad. It was such a special moment. It was more than I could every have dreamt of. From there we went to the church. I always joked telling my fiance that I hope he will be emotional when I walked down the aisle. Never thinking about how emotional I will be getting. Tears running down my face, bearly able to see infront of me I walked down the aisle.
The photos session was so much fun, with a great bridal party who is always game to try a new move.
Hendré made the day even more perfect (he doesn't like photos) when he never complained, he did everything the photographer said and was such a great sport. When we got back to our guest we had our first dance on Tough ones of Cooper Allen.
We danced and danced like we were back in university. The floor was so slippery that I sat on my bum for a moment before Hendré quickly picked me up.
We went to sleep sometime that morning, feeling blessed that all the people we love got to be together and more so that we are going to start our lives together.
We went to Hermanus on honeymoon.
We have a funny honeymoon story. Our honeymoon was a gift from Hendré's parents. They have family that has a flat in Hermanus. When we got to our destination we discovered that it was a retirement resort (Hendré's parents did not know). First thinking it was funny, but then decided that it's not going to work and Hendré starting looking for a new place to stay. We got a perfect place on bookings.com
Our special day was in the beautiful bushfields of Northwest. Our colours was dusty pink, eucalyptus green and white.
My hair and makeup was very simplistic.
I got my earrings from Eden & Co Accessories, it was silver pearl drop.
My shoes was white and from Kookies counture, a small business in our town.

I got a lovely massage as a gift.
I also had facial treatments like Microneedling and Dermaplanning.
Hendrés' suit was from Woolworths and the groom and groomsmen accessories was from Handiki leather ties.

My bridesmaids are from all over the country. We made use of "Anna designs" that was so perfect and elegant for all of us. You just measure yourself and send it to the lovely lady. Were she then makes the dresses according to measurements.
My bridesmaids wore long dusty rose dresses that made each of them look beautifully
