It was during Lockdown, but was so intimate and so special and the best day of my life.
Yes. We went to Hebron Haven on the Midlands Meander. Very quiet and tranquil and only quality time spent together growing as husband and wife. No TV, no cell phones, just us and nature.
I made my own outfit. It was a white pants suit. My best friend did my hair. I did my own makeup. My accesories were all gold and pearls as my theme was a beach wedding. I sourced and did all my own shopping and decor.
We got married at Acacia Bush Lodge. Because of Lockdown I could only have the minister, our son who was the ring bearer and two witnesses there with us.
Beacuse of lockdown, I did my own skin treatments at home. We exercised at home and ate healthy and stayed focussed on the best day of our lives. I glowed naturally on the day.
Because our wedding was beach them, the groom and ring bearer and my dad wore white shirts and cream chinos. Simple but very smart.
I had no bridesmaids because of lockdown rules. My mom was my right hand and she wore a beautiful lilac chaffon blouse with white pants.

Erica from Acacia Bush Lodge took photos and provided a photographer. We did pur own photos at home and leading up to the day.
No. I planned and coordinated our entire wedding.
We were driven by my dad in a white vehicle.
I prepared all the snacks and salada and my friend Carmen McMillan made my wedding cake.
I did all my own stationary and digital invites.
Because of lockdown. We had a small party at pur home the day after. Very close friends and very intimate and a lot of fun.
