We definitely went on honeymoon and we were so excited about it, since the travel ban was lifted just in time. We had a road trip over a few days through to tulbagh, citrusdal and ended in wellington, a hot tub at every place and what a romantic getaway it was. My absolute favourite.
Our wedding day was just the most wonderful, a day I have anticipated for so long and to marry my best friend and love of my life was such a gift. It was all so unreal and am so grateful for that special day and the memories we made.
I was blessed to have the same designer that made my matric farewell dress 10 years ago, design and make my wedding dress, it was a dream come true, my fairytale dress. Thank you to the incredibly talented Lana Cilliers @ Lana design Studio and her team.
Jenny from Jenro beauty did my make-up and hair ,she is a gem, absolutely so good at what she does.
I did the old school, "Something Borrowed" and wore earrings my mom gave me for the evening, it was so special.
We got married at a gem of a place, Anna Beulah Farm in Durbanville. We fell in love with it the moment we did a viewing, it was perfect for what we had in mind and for our style.
I was blessed to have my mom setup our decor for us, she put so much love and care into it and we are so grateful to her.
What beautiful dresses I got for my girls at Hoiden Bridesmaids, loved having them by my side.
Chanine and her husband Louis from Unscripted photography captured our special day, they put so much heart and soul into their work and we are so thankful to them.
The venue provided and catered for the food and what a delicious feast it was and the most insanely scrumptious cake from velvet cake co, we were eating on it for days, best honeymoon snack!
