Our entire wedding was a memorable day for us. It was filled with tears, laughter, joy and love. Our wedding was different as we had to maintain social distancing. The highlights of our wedding were walking down the isle to my husband which was emotional. We waited 11 years to finally say I DO which was speechless as tears of joy flowed down many faces. Exchanging our vows and being pronounced as Mr and Mrs were another highlight of our wedding ceremony. We ended our wedding on a high note with a beautiful photoshoot.
Yes, my husband and I were fortunate to spend two nights at the Pearls Hotel in Umhlanga, Durban. It was not the initial honeymoon plans we had made however, it was a memorable one.

It was an intimate wedding with our immediate family consisting of 17 guests including my husband and I. We did not want to miss the opportunity to get married and start our lives together as we had to postpone our initial wedding due to the hard lockdown therefore, we grabbed the opportunity and became Mr and Mrs Sanilall at Life International Church. Our extended family and friends were able to attend our wedding via Zoom.
I used one of the old but true techniques which entailed drinking lots of water, healthy food and definitely no carbs. A wedding hosted during lockdown meant the bride was unable to go for spa treatments but exercising at home and maintaining a balanced lifestyle provided results.
