We had the most beautiful lockdown wedding, the ceremony was intimate, just our parents and siblings, and officiated by our pastors and took place in my parent's beautiful blooming garden. All of our friends and family witnessed the wedding live-stream on Youtube. After the ceremony, we signed our documents, had a few family photos, and relaxed in the garden with pizza for lunch, and donuts and cheesecake for dessert. We then were blessed to see our friends in a socially distanced drive-by reception. We then got into my car, fully dressed in wedding attire, and made our way to Franschoek, where we ended the day with the most beautiful, romantic sunset photoshoot. All in all, not what we had thought our wedding was going to be like, but so so much better.

My wedding day look was vintage glam, with a bit of boho. I had the most beautiful dress by Cindy Bam, a subtle mermaid with a sweetheart neckline, with the most delicate handstiched lace and beading. Cindy also provided the gorgeous veil. The shoes were from Queenspark, and jewelry from Opari. My wedding bouquet was designed and made by Bulb Flowers.

The styling of all the decor and florals had a vintage theme, bright, but vintage. We used warm, terracotta colours and most of the flowers were indigenous or dried. Stark Events and My Pretty Vintage set up and coordinated all the florals and decor.

We had two photographers, one for our private couples shoot, and one capturing the ceremony and reception.
